Petites Fêtes didn't start with a business plan. It started with something I've always loved doing.
For years, I've been the person planning celebrations for my friends and family. From my own engagement and wedding to birthdays, special occasions and all the little milestones in between, I've always found so much joy in bringing an idea to life.
The themes, the colours, the decorations, the personalised touches… I love every part of it. Especially those little details that make a celebration feel truly personal.
And because these were celebrations for family and friends, budgets were often limited. But that never stopped me from wanting to make them beautiful. I learned to get creative with what I had, find clever alternatives, repurpose things and make the most of every little detail. Sometimes, the simplest ideas turned out to be my favourites.
That's something I still believe in today. A beautiful celebration doesn't have to come with an extravagant price tag. It just needs a little creativity, thought and heart.
And almost every time, someone would say, “Why don't you do this as a business? You're so good at it. It's so you!”
And every time, I'd smile, think about it… and put it off.
The truth is, I've wanted to start Petites Fêtes for years. But between a full-time job, everyday responsibilities and the fear of taking that first step, there was always a reason to wait.
I'd tell myself, maybe next year, maybe when I have more time, maybe when I'm ready.
Until one day, I thought: Why not now?
Why not give something I love a real chance? If it grows into something beautiful, wonderful. And if it doesn't, at least I'll know I tried.
And just like that, after years of thinking, planning and postponing, I finally decided to take that little leap of faith.
That's how Petites Fêtes came to life.
A small dream built on years of creativity, celebrations, encouragement from the people I love, and the belief that even the simplest moments deserve to feel special.
I'm not here to make every celebration bigger or more extravagant. I'm here to make it more thoughtful, more personal and more you.
Because sometimes, it's the smallest details that create the memories we hold on to the longest.
Little details. Lasting memories.
